Quality that stands the test of time
Quality that stands the test of time
Reform doesn’t take shortcuts - we are continually testing and improving our products and processes. Our commitment to quality has been recognized by some of the most notable companies in the world, and here’s how we do it.
How we test our fabric
How we test our fabric
Color & weight
We compare every new batch of fabric with an original sample under a special light to ensure if you order two separate print runs at separate times, the colors will be identical. We also weigh each fabric to ensure they meet our weight standards.
Resistance to shrinkage
We know the feeling of disappointment when your new favorite jacket doesn’t survive its first wash or iron - So we add polyester to the fabric blend (as it is less prone to shrinking), and we pre-wash all our fabrics.
Resistance to fading
We have a diligent dying process that involves testing different patches in UV light, washing colored patches against white fabric to ensure the colors won’t run, and soaking the fabric for 48 hours. The end result? Colors that don’t fade or run.
Resistance to damage
We ensure our fabric is durable enough to endure day-to-day wear; Using a special machine, a piece of fabric is cut and rubbed against an abrasive surface for a set period of time to test for balling. If the fabric is damaged, it doesn’t pass the test.
Tensile strength
At Reform, we carefully test all our fabrics to see not only how far they can stretch before the fibers tear, but also how long until the fabric is permanently damaged. If it doesn’t pass our test, it doesn’t get used.
Proposition 65 compliance
California has strict rules regarding the use of chemicals, and Reform takes safety very seriously; we test our entire range (including zippers, dyes and buttons) every year to ensure we adhere to regulations.

Detail inspection
Every single graphic, badge, and decoration that comes out of our factory is carefully compared to the original before being shipped out.
Custom names & numbers
To highlight what makes your group unique, we have to get every name and number correct; Every custom detail is cross-checked with the original order for accuracy.
Sizing
The sizes of each garment are compared to the original order – as well as each custom name & number - to ensure every item is correct.
Sewing
All of our products are hand-sewn. We inspect every seam to ensure each garment meets Reform standards and that there are no loose threads or stains.
